Modular architecture for scalable projects
Parallel L is a family of rigid linear LED modules designed to adapt to different project scales through modular configuration.
Its operation is based on edge lighting, which allows light to be distributed within surfaces or lightboxes by means of controlled optics.
Unlike homogeneous solutions, Parallel L allows to combine different lengths and powers within the same installation, optimizing:
- Light distribution
- Energy consumption
- Adaptation to real geometries

Technical specifications by model
| Model | Dimensions (mm) | Consumption | *Luminous flux | Efficiency |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| L1 | 80 × 24 × 14 | 3,7 W | ≈ 345 lm | ≈ 93 lm/W |
| L3 | 220 × 24 × 14 | 10 W | ≈ 1.074 lm | ≈ 111 lm/W |
| L5 | 380 × 24 × 14 | 14 W | ≈ 1,706 lm | ≈ 120 lm/W |

| L5+ | 380 × 24 × 14 | 20,5 W | ≈ 2,123 lm | ≈ 104 lm/W |
General parameters
- Power supply: 24 V DC
- CRI: > 80 (oriented to graphic and technical applications)
- Optics: 10° – 30° (concentrated beam for controlled side illumination)
- Service life: > 56,000 h
- Maximum temperature: 85°C
- Protection: IP44 (indoor use)
- LED: High Power (Nichia)
Spectrum options
Parallel L allows the light to be adapted according to the application:
- 1,800K / 3000K / 4000K / 5000K / 5700K
- Neon option for high contrast effects
The Neon version is designed to enhance colors in graphics, generating effects similar to neon lighting, with greater saturation and visual contrast.
Regulation
- Parallel L is NOT dimmable
- For regulation, use Parallel Flex L
This point is key to avoid specification errors in the project.
Configuration for lightbox
The system can be adapted to different box depths:
| Lightbox thickness | Module distance in lightbox |
|---|---|
| 80 mm | 400 – 1,400 mm |
| 100 mm | 400 – 2,200 mm |
| 120 mm | 400 – 2,400 mm |
| 150 mm | 400 – 2,600 mm |
For L+ versions, coverage can be up to 3,200 mm, optimizing larger installations.
Values may vary according to:
- Diffuser type
- Lightbox interior finish (recommended matte white)
Connection and electrical limits
Maximum number of modules connected in series (Europe – CE):
| Model | Max. modules in series (CE) |
|---|---|
| L1 | 25 units |
| L3 | 14 units |
| L5 | 8 units |
| L3+ | 10 units |
| L5+ | 6 units |
Critical rules
- Always feed from higher to lower modulus
- Not to exceed 96W per line
- Never connect two sources in the same circuit
Approach to use
Parallel L is designed for directed side lighting in lightboxes and large format surfaces.
Not intended for:
- Generate homogeneous optical surfaces
- Replacing uniform backlight panels
- Direct lighting applications
- Dynamic or addressable systems
Installation requirements
- Fastening on continuous dissipative metal surface
- Use of connectors (avoid screw terminals)
- Not submersible
- Non-replaceable LEDs
- Indoor use
It also allows adaptation to curved surfaces, expanding the design possibilities in architectural and signage projects.
Design flexibility
Parallel L allows:
- Combine models within the same installation
- Adapt power according to zone
- Solving complex geometries
- Optimize light distribution and consumption
This makes it a highly versatile solution for large format projects.
