Parallel Pixel™ 12-White is an addressable LED module designed for dynamic retail and architectural effects. It operates at 12 V DC, with digital Pixel protocol and data backup line, which allows to keep the sequence active even if a Pixel stops responding.
Pixel addressable system (data + backup)
Each module integrates:
- 3 addressable Pixel (each Pixel controls 4 LEDs)
- Pixel control within the module (effects and sequences)
- Data input and output: DIN / DOUT
- Data backup line: BIN / BOUT
Why is the backup line important?
If a Pixel stops responding, the backup line allows the signal to continue to the rest of the system, preventing the entire sequence from being interrupted. This is critical in commercial installations where visual continuity is essential.
Parallel Installation Manual
Connection and electrical limits
- Maximum recommended: 8 modules in line per group (to maintain power and signal stability).
- Dimension source according to total consumption: 25.2 W per module.
- NEVER CONNECT POSITIVE BETWEEN SOURCE GROUPS
Control by means of:
- SP636E (basic effects)
- Actilum Pixel System (advanced effects and synchronization)
Installation requirements
- Mounting on aluminum dissipating profile is mandatory.
- Indoor use.
- Professional connector recommended (avoid terminal blocks with screws)
Control and software
Parallel Pixel™ 12-White is compatible with different Pixel control systems:
- Actilum Pixel (advanced projects)
- SP636E (quick configuration)
- DMX to Pixel controllers (professional integration)
- Other systems with SK6812 RGBW protocol support (GRB format)
LED number setting: up to 144 LEDs per controller before effect repetition (depending on mode and controller)
Recommendations for lightbox
Installation reference (lightbox 100 mm deep, matt white interior + textile or opal front 3 mm):
The following references indicate the approximate maximum width of the surface that can be covered according to the number of illuminated sides:
- 1 side illuminated → width up to ~1,500 mm
- 2 sides illuminated → width up to ~3.800 mm
- 4 sides illuminated → width up to ~4,000 mm
Also recommended for wallwasher type application, depending on selected optics.
