Centennial history of the Victoria Theater in Barcelona
The Victoria Theater, located at Avinguda del Paral-lel, 67, has been a cultural emblem for more than a century.
From its inauguration in 1905 as the Soriano Pavilion to its renaming as the Victoria Theater by Joan Fradera, it has experienced various stages, from concert cafes to movie theaters and then its return to its theatrical roots in 1914.
Throughout its history, the theater has changed owners and has witnessed splendid moments under the direction of Jaume Balaguer.
In 1986, it was leased to the company “Tres per Tres”, which also acquired the Poliorama Theater in 1996.
During the reconstruction of the Gran Teatre del Liceu in 1994, the Teatre Victoria hosted its programming.
In 2019, after thirty-three years under the direction of “Tres per Tres”, the Teatro Victoria was sold to Antonio Diaz, known as El Mago Pop. Quickly, his inaugural show became the most anticipated show in Spain, and the following year, Teatro Victoria gained recognition as the most visited theater in the world with the show “Nada es Imposible” by El Mago Pop.
Design and installation of large-format light boxes
The recent project carried out at the Victoria Theater in Barcelona has been a unique opportunity to deploy our experience in the design and installation of large format light boxes.
These versatile structures have been integrated into various areas of the theater, fulfilling functions ranging from passageways and information areas to elegant photocalls.
*A photocall is a visually attractive backdrop, usually with logos or themes related to an event, used as a backdrop for photographs.
Custom Lightbox
The magnitude of this project is reflected in the dimensions of the installed light boxes. Some of them reach remarkable dimensions, such as 5.3 x 4.7 meters, 5.7 x 2.3 meters and up to 6 meters long by 1.1 meters high.
In total, 14 Lightboxes have been installed, including the outdoor canopy that guarantees efficient lighting with IP65 protection.
*IP65 protection is a standard rating that indicates that a device or equipment has a high level of dust resistance and is waterproof under specified conditions.

The key to the success of the Victoria Theater’s lighting lies in the careful selection of LED technologies.
With a focus on energy efficiency, homogeneity and luminosity, each Lightbox has been equipped with different LED solutions. This meticulous approach ensures a flawless visual experience for theater visitors.

All light boxes are manufactured entirely at our facilities in Barcelona. This local approach not only guarantees thorough quality control, but also supports the local economy. The proximity to the installation site facilitates efficient project coordination, ensuring a final result that lives up to expectations.
