Project development

The challenge presented by Dior was to create a Christmas visual experience that would stand out in the European retail environment.

Actilum responded with a trend-setting solution: dynamic lightboxes with Actilum Pixel technology, designed to generate light and color effects that capture the essence of the holiday season.

The structure of each lightbox was based on a Dibond support provided by the great company THYSSENKRUPP PLASTIC IBERICA, a material selected for its quality to support the installation of Actilum’s LED PCB boards.

These PCB’s, arranged every 75 mm along the entire surface, allowed a targeted distribution of light to each product or element to be highlighted, essential for the desired visual effect.

On this technical basis, a graphic layer was placed, illuminated by LEDs to create dynamic effects of movement and flashes. This work is done through programming for point-to-point synchronization with various graphic elements.

This lighting technique not only enhances the image, but also adds a unique glow and holiday effect, capturing the attention of passersby and improving product visibility.

In addition, the implementation of decorative elements and perfumes on front layers, illuminated by Luxpanel form circles synchronized with lightbox pixel using Actilum’s pixel ecosystem brain.
