Problems solving

Inverted connection
Check the polarity of the cable and the power supply, connect them correctly. Disconnect the power supply from the mains for 3 minutes and connect the product correctly.
230V connection
The product has been damaged by a load greater than indicated. You must replace the product with a new one and connect it to a 24V dc source.
Short-circuit
Check for a short circuit along the 24V line and correct the connections.
Short-circuit before the power input. Only the power supply will be affected. In that case, check the user guide and the power supply specifications.
Short-circuit after power input. Actilum products may suffer internal damage that worsens their operation. Disconnect the power supply from the mains for 3 minutes, check the wiring and connect the product correctly.
Blinking
The power supply is at the limit of its real power as its capacity does not match the expected. Replace with a higher power source.
Lack of power: connect the product to a higher power source (W).
Check that the power supply is receiving power.
Inadequate voltage: connect the product to the power supply as indicated on the PCB connectors.
Excess cable
Reduce the length of the cable to the power supply. If this is not possible, increase the voltage of the power supply to a maximum of 24.8V.
Inadequate voltage
Connect the product to the appropriate power supply.
Some segments do not light up
Verify that the polarity has not been reversed in any of the segments along the line. Check the connection on the connectors.
Overvoltage: Check that the maximum voltage is 24.8V.
Defective element
Insufficient dissipation between element and profile: fix the product on an aluminum base to dissipate heat.
Weld on the PCB, without resting on a metal profile and at a minimum of 400ºC.
Use the proper tool.
Send the product to Actilum for repair.
Contact Actilum to make use of the warranty through the RMA procedure.
Verify the distance between Parallel and the graph.
Verify the distance between elements.

FAQ

Measures

The distance between elements is ~1 mm.
If your box only illuminates on one side, place the elements as far away as possible from the graph to be illuminated, otherwise, place the modules centered.

Electric connection

If you purchased the power supply from Actilum, refer to the custom mounting document for detailed instructions. If you do not find it, contact Actilum for assistance. Otherwise, consult your supplier.
Depending on the model you can add a dimmer module or decrease the input voltage to <24V
This product is designed to be connected to a low voltage DC source 24V.

Usage

The standard model of Parallel XL is designed for indoor use due to its IPx4 protection (in order to achieve greater watertightness it must be closed in a space that guarantees the required IP).

Parallel XL IP model is recommended for outdoor use.
The product is designed for indirect lighting or backlighting.
It can be cut only by the cutting areas as indicated in the image. It can be welded only at the points indicated in the image. Weld on the PCB, without resting on a metal profile and at a minimum of 400ºC. Any other handling of the product will void the warranty.
